Free Things To Do In Valencia
Valencia has a lot of free activities to offer! We have prepared a series of posts with our favorite things to do in Valencia that cost you nothing! Or very little. In today’s post we will focus on free museums / exhibitions. Let’s get into it!

Valencia Town Hall
​You can enter the building and enter the balcony that gives a beautiful view over the Town Hall Square from Monday - Friday 8:00-15:00.
IVAM
It focuses on contemporary and #modernart. Free admissions Wednesdays 16:00-19:00 and Sundays.
​Carmen Contemporary Culture Centre
Carmen Contemporary Culture Centre - this cultural center hosts #contemporary art exhibitions, events and concerts. Most of the exhibitions and events are free of charge.

Museum of fine Arts
This museum is home to an extensive collection of Valencian art from the 14th to 17th centuries and has a beautiful patio. The entrance is always free but it’s closed on Mondays.

City of Arts and Sciences
A cultural and architectural complex, you can enter the main entrance and see the patio however the exhibition is being charged.


The Valencian Museum of Ethnology
Museum devoted to Valencian culture and identity, the entrance is always free but it opens from Wednesday to Sunday.
Bombas Gens Art Centre
Art gallery stages exhibitions of contemporary art and hosts interesting events. The admission is free of charge during the whole year.
MUVIM
Illustration and Contemporary Museum exhibits the evolution of modern thoughts and a replica of the city during the 18th century, it’s free during the weekends and bank holidays.
Prehistoric Museum
its a museum that exposes archaeological materials from Paleolithic to Visigithos from the Valencian region. The admission is always free.

City Musem
This museum is located in Valencia's old town and showcases the history of the city. Free on Sundays and Bank Holidays.
